What’s His and What’s Mine

I’ve had my iPod Classic since November last year. I bought it before leaving for Singapore to work. I really love my iPod and I have a lot of movies and songs saved there already. Naturally, Doms cannot borrow my iPod because aside from the fact that I always bring my iPod wherever I go, the songs and the movies saved there are not Doms’ type.

Having an iPod/iTouch/iPhone or a PSP or MP3 player is very crucial here in Singapore. Most people travel by train here and the only way to keep people busy during travels here are those stuff. If you ride a train here in Singapore, you will notice that almost everyone has either an iPod/iTouch/iPhone or PSP keeping them busy.

So, during the quarterly IT Show here in SG, Doms decided to buy his own gadget to listen to during train rides. He bought an iTouch.

Well, he chose that over a simple iPod because he wants to have wifi connectivity also. Here in SG every corner has a wifi spot, so gadgets with wifi capability can come in handy.

I really think Doms is enjoying his iTouch. He downloaded songs that he wants already and I converted movies that he wants to watch there. He deserves to have that because he worked very hard for that.

For the next IT Show in September, we are already thinking of what to buy. Well, I already have something to buy and I’ll be saving up for that from now on. I know I deserve that and I can’t wait to have that already. Here’s the pic of what I dreamt of having:

I know I will have this by September and I know I deserve this. This will be a symbol of my hard-earned money here in Singapore.

To tell you guys honestly, I’m really proud of whatever we have now. All of the things that we have are coming from our savings and I’m proud of what Doms and I have accomplished. We are slowly acquiring what we want here in Singapore and it thrills me so much knowing that our own savings and salaries allowed us to buy the stuff that we want.

Doms is saving up for a D90 and I know he will have that. He’s a very hardworking person and he loves his family so much and even if he sends them money, he still have savings for his D90 and some donut holes or a slice of chocolate cake from Q-bread to give me when he arrives from work.

Our next goal after having our dream gadgets is to transfer to a condo unit along the purple line by Decemeber this year and to save up for our wedding. We are planning to have it by the last quarter of next year or early 2011. The other night we were imagining our wedding already and we were discussing who our entourage will be and our ninongs and ninangs.

I know that with the help of God and all our prayers, we will accomplish those things. I’m very lucky to have Doms in my life because he is very sweet and lovable in his own way.
