Falling In Love With The Photographer

Posted on Updated on

Ever since I was a kid, I am attracted to artists. “I’m a sucker for artists” were my lines. I’m not the typical girl who likes good, prim and proper guys. I like unique, musically inclined and artistic guys. That’s why I fell in love with Doms.

What attracted me to Doms first is his love for the same music that I like to listen. As I could remember, we started our first ever conversation with the music of Paramita. And the rest is history. With that, I got to learn a lot of things about him. He’s very mature, he knows what to do in situations that I get stuck in, he supports whatever I want, he plays the guitar beautifully, he writes poems and songs, he is responsible, he makes me laugh, he has weird ideas and funny ways, he knows how to handle my “sablay”, crazy and unreasonable tantrums, he overcame all his fears, he protected me, he fought for our love and relationship and most of all, he cares for me and he loves me.

This is my baby Doms =)

Among all of those wonderful traits, I got attracted to him because he expresses himself through pictures like drawings, sketches and photographs. He takes nature shots and portraits beautifully.

Doms loves taking landscape shots. He goes mountain climbing ad trekking just to get the perfect view. He visits and attends different places and events just to capture all the colors in his lens. He spends his other free time, when he’s not with me, in model shoots. And he is very good.

To my baby, keep up the good work. Your very good in photography and I can see in your eyes your love and eagerness in that field. I support you all the way. And I love you! Thanks for loving me too.

To see all of Doms wonderful pictures visit his multiply site and his flickr account.

I’m posting here some of my baby’s pictures during his shoot last Saturday. This is my baby, in action!

Talking and coordinating with RJ Olaso and their model.

Look how cute my baby is here! hehehe.. strobe light testing! He’s wearing one of the shirts I bought him in Bangkok.

Thanks to Vincent Galang for the pictures.

Happy People, Happy Lives

Posted on Updated on

These people are a big example of what love can do to ordinary girls and boys. Ehem, I mean guys and women or rather, men and women.

The girls at the back are my long time friends. We started when we were still little girls, running around our subdivision and playing like there’s no tomorrow.

Meet Noa, Nicole, Eden and I

I’m soo happy to realize that everything we talked about during our sleep over nights at Eden’s house are slowly happening. There, we talked about our dreams, our life’s worth, our plans… Our love life.

Almost all of us had problems when it comes to love life. And I can say, almost all of us had one way or another broken our hearts by someone not worth it. It was not easy, I tell you. But it was OK since I have these girls around as well as our other friends from the Parish Youth Ministry or PYM. We used to cry together, eat and hang out at Mcdo until 2am, do our afternoon “walking” just to get a glimpse of our neighborhood crushes, sing our hearts out in videoke nights and eat, eat and eat to wherever we want.

Now, we are all here, with the love of our lives.

Enter Rommel, Teddy, Brian and Doms

Isn’t nice looking at this picture? All of us are happy contented to what we deserve. Don’ t let bonding moments with your friends pass by, you’ll never know what those moments can bring to who or what you are now.

H7 Means My Turf

For more than a year now, the place where “everything” work related happens is my cube. Ever since I started working in Lawson, this was my place and my cube.

I love my cube! It is located along the aisle. So for short, I am facing the crowd who passes by the aisle. And I love that! At least I see everyone who walks pass me.

This is an improvement for me. In my previous work as a call center, we don’t have a cube. We just have stall and we sit together. But that was OK for us. Also, in my previous work in Headstrong, we don’t have our own telephones. Now, I have my own cube, own telephone and I love it!

Most of the stuff “in” my cube are the usual stuff. I always make sure that arrange the things in my cube as often as possible.

Hope you guys can visit my place soon! hehehehe, as if pwede!

25 years and counting

Posted on Updated on

Yes, you read it right! I am already 25 years old.

It’s so funny because I was looking through my old blogs. I realized that I am more (ummm, 2 years more) mature now than when I was since my last blog. My blogs back then were mostly about high school and college feelings. Like, how my days were when I am still part of 4E1 and how Mer, Tansio and Yap are my close buddies; how Eden and Nicole went through the Summer Youth Camp in Zambales; how Ate Lala shared her activities in PYM; how my sister spent her salary from being a nurse in Heart Center; how my love life ended and started…

All of those stuff and happenings seems so long ago. I’ve been through a lot and I am happy who I am now…

When I woke up this morning, it was raining so hard I thought I was still in college where heavy rain means heavy sleeping because classes are suspended. But reality hit me when my mom told me to get ready for work already because I might be stuck in traffic. So I did my daily routine, not knowing what will happen in my Thursday.

I started work as early as possible, I am a Technical WRITER by the way, and I write technical stuff. One of the main reasons why I wanted a features blog is because I’m drained with writing about ledgers and payrolls. We ate lunch out and we had pizza for snacks. I love doing what I am doing. Working and having fun with my friends. Where else can you get that? But sometimes, there are moments when you just want to breathe… And I did my breathing when I was on my home from work. I am asking myself, who am I now? What made me different from my previous years?

Right now, I have a wider perspective of life. Saving does not only mean saving for that pair of shoes or sandals, but saving is for future purposes. Yep, you read it right again, I am planning for my future. Actually, we are planning for our future.

The person I want to spend the rest of my life with is Alvin Dominic “Doms” Valentin. We’ve been a couple for almost 2 years already. When you read my past blogs you’ll be surprised to know that a “man-hater” like me found the person who I know will take care of me and the person I will take care of. Yes, everything came into place when I met him. He loves me and I love him. And we are happy.

Aside from Doms, my family has also evolved. We are now more open to changes and we try to understand more often. My sister is now based in Ireland and she is doing great over there.

These are just some of the things about me right now. In my coming blog entries, you will see that what made as a person is really based from who I am before. And to find that out, spend time reading my past blogs: http://dindindyosa.blogspot.com/ and http://dindinstars.blogspot.com/

Cheers!
